Global Warming 101 Lesson Plans for Grades 3 - 6 - Will Steger

RESOURCE: Global Warming 101 Lesson Plans for Grades 3 - 6 - Will Steger

SUMMARY

Will Steger Foundation’s Global Warming 101 Lesson Plans were developed to raise public awareness about global warming as witnessed through Will Steger’s polar expeditions. They educate about the effects of human actions upon the global climate, and empower individual innovation.

GOALS

This curriculum bridges the gap in elementary curriculum resources; it was created with the idea that teaching about climate change at the elementary level is possible, if the curriculum provides students with real, authentic solutions they can be a part of and provides them with the tools to enact these solutions.
